Dr Jennifer Macindoe

BVMS MRCVS

RCVS number 7014678

I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2011 and have since worked as a small animal vet across the UK, from the beautiful Lake District to the east coast of Scotland. I have a particular passion for nutrition, dermatology, and behaviour and am currently completing a postgraduate Master’s in Animal Nutrition.

Alongside clinical work, I've spent the past four years writing and reviewing veterinary content, focusing on translating evidence-based science into practical guidance for pet owners. In the past I've also volunteered in animal rescue centres in Nepal, Thailand and India, which broadened my perspective on animal health across different settings.

A little more about Jennifer

  • Why I became a vet

I've always loved animals and knew from a young age that I wanted a career working with them. I particularly enjoy the variety of veterinary medicine, where no two days are the same, and the opportunity to make a real difference to pets' lives.

  • Outside of work

Outside of work, I love travelling and exploring new places, as well as spending time outdoors. I enjoy hiking and swimming, and I'm happiest when I'm out in nature. I'm also an avid reader, so I like to balance being active with a good book when I have the chance.
